  Andy at Newcomer handled everything beautifully for my sister's funeral. He took the time to explain everything to the family, especially her grieving children. The service was great and all the arrangements were as my niece and nephew wanted.
  Saying goodbye to someone you love is never easy, remember the funny times, those awkward moments that make you smile.
  This is a job, I could never do so I am grateful for those who honestly dedicate themselves to to this job.

  My family chose newcomer funeral home to host my moms home going service. The funeral director Andy was absolutely unprofessional! Our family consists of 4 siblings. Andy proceeded to tell my brothers and I that my sister requested that no one enter to view my mother privately prior to the funeral without her being present. My sister was late I proceeded to call her she stated she never left no such request to Andy. I believe Andy tried to cause friction in my family when he should have remained professional and neutral. This entire confusion took place on the day of my mothers funeral. Andy made a day that was supposed to be a beautiful goodbye to my mother a day of confusion. I gave Newcomer funeral home one star because in spite of Andy's antics my mom looked absolutely beautiful. The funeral director Torsha stepped in and was a great help when I could no longer stand the sight of Andy and I'm grateful for Torsha doing that. I'm a God fearing woman and don't believe anyone deserves treatment like this on the day they come to say goodbye to their mother. I felt it needed to be said.

  I truly had a good experience during an unexpected tragedy for my family. They were beyond understanding & helpful every step of the way. Any family member could call & their answers were consistent. They answered every question I had, down to what step the crematory was in. I don't love that they called weeks after the service asking my mom if she would use them for any other services but I understand that's for their business. It's also located next to a dollar store and auto zone but honestly I never thought about that for more than a second because Newcomer is definitely the cheapest without suffering any quality. I wish I remember the names of those who helped because they assisted in a beautiful memorial service.

  Extremely disappointed with the service provided. The Director from the Longwood location, Chris, was very helpful, but the director at this location didn't listen to our request and did not allow us to play a video in their TV. "Company Policy" he said. The Newcomer company looked disorganized and put a bad show for our guests. Will not recommend. On top of our sadness and grieve, we were upset. No consideration whatsoever. Some family traveled from abroad to be with us and they didn't care.

  First time I went through something like this they were attentive and made the process as unpainful as possible. Great stuff and the funeral director listen to our family needs the entire time.
