  The church is nice but like any church you have to make the effort to get to know people because no one will ever attempt to get to know you. Only those who have been there for a while have connections. Newbies feel alone and are often the one's trying to get connected. The pastor is a simple and fun man with a down to earth personality. What hurt the most is the lack of interest they have for the children's spiritual growth. My child stopped praying and reading her bible since she started going to that church. When i voiced my concerns I was told to go online to look for other resources to help her. They made me feel like it was my fault and because she was too young. Although she read the bible over 10 times in One year (kid's bible). I pissed off the director who never really talked to me until today to, in other words, tell me to keep my mouth shut. The church is good for retirees, those who have lots of time on their hands, and maybe families who don't really care about their child getting to know Jesus. No child should have to feel preasured to memorize a verse and say it aloud while someone is waving a bowl of candy in front of you. Sadly disappointed. Finally, after service we went to a neighborhood church after for about 20 minutes and my child told me they prayed together twice, worshipped, and was happy to tell me what she learned. So that's my take and i don't usually do reviews but for my child this needs to be known to others with children.

  I feel loved and Orlando Outreach was awesome and feel like im part of a family now. Im blessed to have friends from this church, especially being loved for who i am.
